Mail Dispatch Management

Dispatch industries will be having a subscription system wherein the customers can request delivery of their mails to their mailbox rather than pick it up from the postbox at the post office. The complete implementation of the system would involve installation of the post boxes with RFID tags attached to each mail box to uniquely identify all the mailboxes. Subscribers of the system would be able to sign up with client to get their deliveries of mail at the mail box installed close to their place. Dispatch industries in turn have a sorting system which would identify subscriber mails and route them to these mail boxes through the Mail Dispatch Management System. The ordinary mails would continue to use the existing sorting and delivering of mails to the post box at the post office. The subscriber mails are sorted from the ordinary mails by the sorting system and are put in mail bags to be picked up by delivery men and be delivered to individual mail boxes in the city or country. The Mail Dispatch Management System would use the inputs from the sorting system and the subscriber system to create optimal schedules for the delivery men to take along with the optimal routes to deliver the mails. This would be done by creating schedules and routes for each delivery men to take and also communicate the same to the in-car navigation system for it to display the map and route and to assist the delivery men to navigate. At the end of the delivery shift the delivery men synchronizes the data back to the back office and the status of the mails are updated in the system. The Mail Dispatch management system handles the exceptions generated in the delivery of the mails. The system would also handle the pick ups either pre-planned or when the delivery man is in the field delivering mails.

Features:

• Scheduling and routing of delivery men on the move.
• Optimal route planning using different parameters like rush hour, speed limit, best time for delivery etc.
• Using in-car navigation system to guide the delivery man to location points correctly.
• Correct identification and automated proof of delivery using a Hand Held Terminal (HHT) and RFID enabled
  mailboxes
• Automated reconciliation of mail deliveries and pick-ups
• Efficient exception handling in the system for superior system operations
• Arabic English interface
• Full integration with IVR based pick-up system.
• Integrated with CRM system

Dispatch management is a solution catering to the logistics and transportation industry. Dispatch management is capable of dynamically creating optimized routes based on the locations to service. The powerful scheduling and routing engine allows multiple constraints to be considered and optimized route to be generated. This along with the RFID and GPS will provide a complete solution for the dispatching system. Automated reconciliation can save using RFID / barcode enabled end points can reduce inaccuracy. It can be integrated with an Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system to provide real time visibility. It can be interfaced with existing infrastructure and leverage benefits gained from the synergy.

Features:

• RFID enabled post boxes aid in automated tracking and reconciliation at end of each delivery men shift
• Optimized route generation based on multiple option for fairness in work distribution
• Takes advantage of GIS information to provide best sequence to visit given set of points
• RFID,GPS and In-car navigation completes the visibility loop through interfacing with MDMS
• Faster and more accurate reconciliation using electronic tracking
